South Dakota Electrical Continuing Education Courses

License Renewal Deadline:
Electrical Contractors and Journeyman Electricians: Every two years by June 30th of the even numbered years.
Continuing Education Requirements:
To renew your license, you must have at least 16 hours of continuing education. Eight hours must be code-related. The remaining eight hours may be non-code. You can only use eight hours per year for on-line classes. The South Dakota Electrical Commission will no longer provide the annual three hour code classes.

These courses are APPROVED by the State of South Dakota Electrical Commission. When you complete your course, we will email you a Certificate of Completion to include with your license renewal form.
